About Susanna

I’m a therapist who believes meaningful change happens in the context of a steady, honest relationship.

Many of the people I work with are used to handling things on their own. From the outside, their lives look stable. On the inside, something feels off.

Therapy offers a place to slow down, think out loud, and understand the patterns shaping your life, with someone paying careful attention. My approach is warm, direct, and tailored to you and what’s actually workable in your life.

The perspective I bring is shaped by both professional training and lived experience. Like many of the people I work with, parts of my life unfolded differently than I expected — and that’s made me a better therapist.

I’m an IVF mom of two. Navigating fertility treatment gave me a personal understanding of how much people can be holding during that process. The uncertainty, the emotional weight, the way it can quietly take over your life.

My path to partnership wasn’t linear either. I met my husband and married in my mid-30s, after years of navigating dating as an adult. I have a lot of respect for how complicated that terrain is, especially for people trying to make thoughtful choices about their lives.

I share some of this here—not as a credential or something that centers our work, but because it shapes how I show up, with a real appreciation for how nonlinear and complex adulthood can be.

My Approach
Therapy That Works in Real Life

Good therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and life rarely fits neatly into a framework. You have a demanding job, relationships, responsibilities, and exist in many systems you can't control. Our time together centers on what will actually work in your life — not just generic ideal solutions.

A Relational Process

Change happens in relationship. I ask questions, offer perspective, and help you notice what may not have been visible before. My role is to bring steadiness, honesty, and careful attention to whatever you’re working through. I am invested.

Understanding Patterns

We focus on making sense of the patterns shaping your life and relationships. As those patterns become clearer, new ways of responding tend to emerge — ones that feel more aligned with how you want to live.

Building Self-Trust

Over time in therapy, many people find they trust their own judgment more. Therapy isn’t about giving you answers — it’s about developing the clarity and steadiness to navigate your life with greater confidence.
